In Memory of Phoenix ️

Phoenix was a sweet, innocent cat whose life was tragically cut short by rodent poison. My friend had mice and put out rodenticide; unintentionally poisoning a hungry, gentle cat instead. When I picked up the cat I noticed something was off. I rushed him to ER. Despite the doctors’ efforts, the poisoning was too severe, and passed away at the hospital.

Rodenticides don’t just affect their intended targets. Cats, dogs, wildlife, and birds of prey are often secondary victims when they ingest poisoned rodents, or the poison directly. The death is slow, painful, and devastatingly common.
