Hi, my name is Amelia, and I'm a trans woman. I’m trying to raise funds to relocate to New Jersey so I can build a more stable and secure life for myself and my daughter.

Right now, I’m working toward moving to a state with a stronger economy and better legal protections for people like me. New Jersey offers more opportunities, stronger tenant and worker protections, and a safer environment overall, which would make a huge difference in my ability to move forward and stay on my feet.

I’m aiming to raise $5,500 total. Around $2,000 will go toward travel and moving expenses, and $3,500 will help cover the upfront cost of securing housing in NJ, mainly the first and second months’ rent.
