My name is Devonte Bryant and I am reaching out during one of the most challenging seasons of my life.


I recently underwent a thymectomy, a major surgical procedure that focuses on my immune system, and requires a long and careful recovery. While the surgery was necessary for my health, it has left me unable to work for the next 4–6 months. During this time, my doctors have advised me to focus fully on healing, regaining strength, and avoiding physical strain.


Unfortunately, this recovery period also means a complete loss of income. Currently, I am facing significant financial pressure from everyday necessities, including monthly housing expenses, health insurance premiums and medical costs, utilities, groceries and basic living needs, and transportation for follow-up medical appointments.
