On October 26th, I will be donating half of my liver to my father as he fights liver cancer. My father has been one of the biggest influences in my life, and there was no doubt in my mind to volunteer as a living donor.

My father Adrian Sanchez had worked for many years supporting his wife and his 3 children. Shortly after he retired he was diagnosed with Liver Cancer and remains optimistic for his recovery and future. For someone who has spent his time providing and caring for others, I knew in my heart that I would do everything I could to hopefully repay a portion of what he’s done for me.

I’m starting this fundraiser because my recovery is expected to last about 3 months, of which I will be unable to work.

Donations would be extremely helpful with my recovery as it would relieve some of the financial strain as I recover.
