Support My Recovery After Emergency Surgeries

As many of you may know, the week of Thanksgiving I was in and out of the Emergency Room at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. I was not able to hold down food or liquids; anything that was consumed was thrown right back up. It got to the point that I was beginning to throw up stomach acid, and then bile. As this continued, I began getting worse and worse chest pains, to the point of me calling 911 to have paramedics take me to the ER. This time I was taken to Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. They ended up having me sit for hours and hours while puking bile and having chest pains, so I left there and went home again. Come Monday, Dec 1, it had gotten so bad that I was no longer sleeping. It hurt to sit, stand, or even lay down, so I made the decision to drive myself back to UT Southwestern, where I was finally met by a doctor who wanted to check my gallbladder. It was found that I needed to have my gallbladder removed. The doctor had a team of surgeons come in to speak with me, and it was decided that within a couple of hours at most, I would be taken from the ER to the OR to have the gallbladder removed. Once removed, I was cleared to go home to rest and take it easy, and wait for my post-op follow-up on Dec 15. Unfortunately, I was rushed back to the ER on Thursday the 3rd, due to sharpening and worsening pains in my abdominal area. It was found that I had a hernia, which turned out to be a 2 and a half inch piece of my intestines twisted, causing a blockage. This was something the doctors again had decided to take me straight from the ER to the OR for an emergency procedure. Thankfully, the doctors were able to get this taken care of, but it did keep me in the hospital for an additional 5 days where I was kept on a liquid diet until the last 2 days, where I was then able to have an unrestricted diet.

Due to these procedures, I have been and will be out of work the whole month of December, as well as a majority of January as of now.

I am not usually one to ask for help, but I am doing everything that I can to try not to get behind on rent, and other bills as I made the mistake of not signing up for short-term disability, thinking that I already was covered by it. I am unable to do Lyft/Uber due to my current car insurance policy, and am limited on other options as I am limited to how much I can lift or carry, as well as trying to not get another hernia from moving about the wrong way.

If you are able to help in any way possible, I would truly appreciate it. If you would rather send something via PayPal, Venmo, Cashapp, or Zelle, I will attach those below as well.
