I was involved in a car accident on March 19th caused by a drunk driver. Unfortunately, I suffered a fractured humerus and significant back damage. At this time, I’m unable to lift my arm, and my doctor has advised me to rest and pause work for the next 2–3 weeks while I recover. I will also be following up with an orthopedic specialist during this time. This has been an incredibly difficult period, both physically and emotionally, as my life was put on hold by someone else's reckless decision. The pain and uncertainty have been overwhelming, but I am doing everything I can to focus on my treatment and recovery.

Because of my injuries, I am unable to work and am struggling to cover my basic living expenses. My most urgent need right now is to pay my rent for the month so I can keep my home and have a safe place to heal. Having my rent covered would mean I don't have to worry about being evicted while I'm physically unable to work. This support would allow me to focus entirely on my physical therapy and healing my back and arm, without the added stress of losing my home.
