Help With Vet Bills - After a horrible loss

UPDATE: Her kidneys weren't getting any better. They told me that if she made it out of this, she would have years of surgeries and recovery. They told me she was in a lot of pain and the likeliness of her surviving was slim. The best option was to put her down before she was in more pain or even possibly got worse. It was the hardest decision I have ever had to make. Unfortunately, we still have the vet bills to pay, along with her cremation. Anything will help.. She was my best friend and I wanted so bad to keep fighting for her but it would have been so selfish of me. I am absolutely heartbroken.

Hello.. I have never done something like this before.. My dog was injured by boiling hot water being spilled on the ground and splashed onto her. She has wounds all over her legs. Her tummy. It’s worse than we thought. The severity of her injuries are honestly so much worse than I could have ever imagined. She is suffering from potential kidney failure, high levels of potassium, intense pain, burns, and inflammation, possibly sepsis and general stress. She is currently in the hospital and will remain there for a few days under strict supervision. We will get updates every 2 hours.

We had just canceled the pet insurance only a few weeks before this happened because it was a huge expense that we weren’t able to keep up with.

I am hoping for a little help with her medical bills and medication. Maple is my life…and I am looking a chance to help her just as much as she has been able to help me.

I adopted her when she was a year old. From then on, she has changed my life for the better these past 7 years. She brightens my day every time I see her butt wiggles, and I truly don’t know here I’d be without her. She saved me so it’s time that I save her.
