Hi everyone! My name is Mason Giese, and I’ve been dedicated to the game of golf for the past 6 years. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a true passion and now a professional pursuit.

My Journey

Back when I was a kid, maybe 4-5 years old it was my dream to play baseball. So I told my parents to let my play that amazing sport. That dream lasted about 8 years due to the fact I needed surgery on both my legs and feet to relieve my excruciating pain. In spite of this, I had to pick a new sport to play. My grandpa asked me to play golf with him one day, and I… Fell… In…Love! I started playing for Cleveland High school during my 8th grade year. My coach, Scott Georgia told me that he saw something in me, something that he could mold into a great golfer. I dedicated my effort, my money, my time in to golf. I never grew up wealthy or well off, but I had parents and family members who supported my dream. With a coach who wanted me to succeed and a family by my side I decided I’m going to try and play collegiate golf. When I turned into a senior I got some exciting news of a D1 school that took a look at me and wanted me to play for their school. But just before I could take that step, life took a turn - I was in a serious accident that left me with two fractured vertebrae. And all of a sudden, I could see my golf career fade away. 

The road to recovery was long and humbling. But I discovered something during the process. Golf wasn’t just a game to win money or titles or prizes, it is a part of who I am. I worked and worked on myself to try and get back the spark I once had. Here I am now, healed and ready to take the big step! 

My Goal

Now, I’m ready to compete at the professional level, and I’m asking for your support to help make that possible. Turning professional comes with significant expenses, from tournament entry fees and travel costs to coaching, equipment, and training. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping me pursue this dream and continue developing my game at the highest level.

Golf has given me a sense of purpose and drive that I want to carry with me into a professional career. I believe with continued dedication, hard work, and your support, I can make a real mark in this sport.
