Dear friends,
A little bit about myself. Growing up, I always wanted to help others. I even went to college at IPFW to study law. I wanted to be the one who held people responsible for hurting others. I ended up starting at General Motors while I was still in high school, and then having my only son my second year of college. After becoming a single mom at 20 years old that dream ended. A few years ago, I found a new passion and way to help others. I joined the First Responder Team here at General Motors. It is because of my amazing captain's support and encouragement that I am currently enrolled in an EMT course at the West Central Fire Station.
In my personal life. I have been attending The Pointe Church every Sunday for the past 6 months. I have gotten to experience the joy of Go Days and serving my city, along with meeting some truly incredible people. Some of those people even invited me into their home once a week for grow groups to develop our relationship with our Father and with eachother. Going on a missions trip has always been a dream of mine. When I heard The Pointe goes to El Salvador every year, I knew this was the next step I wanted to take in my faith.
I appreciate any kind of donation you are willing to make. If you do not feel comfortable giving money, I will be having a garage sale to raise funds and appreciate any items you would like to donate. Another way you can help support my journey is by sharing this link.
These are all ways you can be a part of my journey without physically being there. You can show God's love by helping get to where I need to be to help those families.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Thank you for all of your support!
