I am creating this fundraiser for my parents, especially my mom, as our family faces another incredibly hard chapter in a long cancer journey. My mom first battled ovarian cancer and beat it. Later, the cancer moved to her stomach, and she fought through that as well. Now, she is facing three cancerous tumors in her brain, and we are still trying to learn whether this is a new cancer or related to the original ovarian cancer. As she goes in and out of the hospital, attends specialist appointments, and works through physical therapy, the emotional and physical toll on our whole family has been overwhelming.

This fundraiser was created because so many kind people have been asking how they can help. Support will go toward helping my parents keep up with everyday expenses during this difficult time, while also covering things that can make my mom’s daily life safer and easier, like a wheelchair, help with showering, getting up, and other care needs as they come. We are not usually the type of family to ask for help or money, but under these circumstances, any support would mean so much. There is absolutely no obligation, but if anyone feels led to give, pray, or share this fundraiser, it would be deeply appreciated. My mom has so much life left to live and see, and every bit of support helps our family focus more on her care and less on the financial strain.
