On Saturday, October 3rd, our parents, Betty and Jay Schaffer, were involved in a serious motorcycle accident on Route 8 at the intersection of Route 8 and Staff Road. Both of them were rushed to the hospital with severe injuries. Jay has already undergone surgery, and Betty is recovering from a broken shoulder alongside other injuries. Our family is facing an extremely difficult and overwhelming road ahead as they focus on healing. Right now, their needs are immediate. The funds raised will go directly toward medical bills, daily living expenses, household bills, and utilities to ensure they have everything they need while unable to work during their recovery.
