Hi Everyone! Meet Bubbles - the most gorgeous, sweetest, gentlest big little 2-year-old Great Dane. He had to undergo emergency surgery tonight, and I am fundraising on behalf of my niece and her fiancé to help them with this significant cost.

Bubbles had a sudden, severe complication tonight while recovering from a routine gastropexy, where he had a negative reaction to the sutures that led to his intestines prolapsing out of his incision. The emergency surgery was to see if the surgeon could fix this, or they would have to put him down. My niece just updated me that thankfully Bubbles' intestines were still viable, surgery proceeded, and he is stable. He is now being monitored for the next day or two before he will be able to return to his cozy mountain of blankets on his couch.
