Support My Niece's Fight Against Lupus & Kidney Disease

Donation protected
My beloved 12-year-old niece is currently facing a tremendous health battle, fighting both lupus and Gi Shiga toxin and waiting for test results to find out if she has leukemia. This unexpected and difficult journey has placed a significant burden on her and our entire family. While we are focusing all our love and energy on supporting her through treatment, the financial strain of medical expenses is adding an additional layer of stress. We are reaching out to our community, friends, and family to ask for your support during this challenging time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping us provide her with the best possible care and treatment she needs to fight this.

We understand that times are tough for many, and we appreciate your consideration. Your generosity will directly impact her treatment, helping to alleviate some of the financial burden and allowing us to focus on what matters most: her health and well-being. We are hopeful and optimistic that with the right medical care and the support of our community, she will overcome this and return to the vibrant, joyful young girl we all know and love. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this difficult time. We are truly grateful for any help you can offer.

Update on Kennedy this morning. Test results came back and she is negative for blood cancer but will have to continue to do treatments for the Lupus. Test results for Shiga toxins came back negative as well. She has a long road to recovery still but is making progress. Thank you all for the prayers.

Update on Kennedy:
She has been diagnosed with Lupus she has a very severe infection in her kidneys, her platelets are still low but are climbing (she should be at 500,000 and today she is at 20,000.) Her kidney Dr said he feels good to do her kidney biopsy when her platelets ( blood cells) get between 80,000-100,000. As she is high risk for bleeding out because her blood is not clotting. Kennedy is on a high dose of chemotherapy which she will have to do for the next 6 months. Thursday we are hoping to do the biopsy to see what stage her kidneys are in to determine how much chemotherapy she will need. She has a severe kidney disease .
They have started her on heart medication as her blood pressure is high 140 and higher. They need her at120.
She is stable fighting for her life.

Kennedy completed her first round of chemotherapy on Saturday. She rocked it. I’m so proud of her. Starting getting some side effects in her tummy Saturday evening .
Sunday was rough she was sick and lethargic developed a rash on her fingers also swelling on her feet and legs, We attended Church online at Oasis Community Church - Fallon, Nevada her eyes started leaking so they started her on eye drops, she also started medication for pneumonia as a premed before biopsy .

Yesterday Kennedy was tired getting exhausted from all the tests, she developed blisters on her fingers and thrush. She now is taking a mouth wash to help with thrush, this also may help with her taste buds. Kennedy is not eating (9 cucumbers yesterday, 1 chicken tender) sips on fluids. She was very lethargic and slept most of the day away.

Today is a new day, KEEP PRAYING FOR MY LITTLE WARRIOR… She is strong and Dr are very impressed with her strength!
Thank you everyone

Update Team Kennedy

God is so GOOD, ALL THE TIME!!!!
Kennedy had daddy stay with her last last night for the night, mommy went home to go bleach crazy and aired the house out so she can come home and rest! She is transitioning well with meds and eating like herself again. Took IV out yesterday, only 1 more poke tomorrow for her last blood draw this stay. We are both excited to be going home in the morning, we will have lots of treatments and appointments to go to but seeing her as herself again is GODS WORK! Her team here has been a wonderful team and her Drs are amazing and very smart, nurses love my baby as much as I do so fear had no hold on me! Kennedy is traveling outside of her room now went to the garden with Zoey Marie got some outside fresh air. Thank you everyone for praying for the healing and for showing up for my little.
