Support My Mum’s Cancer Treatment and Recovery

Donation protected
Our beautiful mum is in the fight of her life.

She has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma a type of blood cancer that turned our world upside down. Just a few weeks ago, she was smiling, laughing, and taking care of everyone else. Now, she lies in a hospital bed, hooked to countless drips, oxygen, and undergoing aggressive chemotherapy to save her life.

We celebrated her birthday on 25th March, and shortly after that, everything changed. She became unwell, and after two agonising weeks of pain, fatigue, and endless hospital visits, she was diagnosed with lymphoma 2 weeks ago. Since then, our lives have become a rollercoaster of fear, hope, and exhaustion.

In just one month, our mum has endured more than most do in a lifetime.

She developed hepatitis, suffered from stage 2 kidney failure, and her spleen became dangerously swollen, pressing on her organs and making it hard for her to breathe, eat, or even move. The pain was unbearable. She also had fluid in her lungs, which made her feel constantly breathless. Her platelets dropped to critically low levels, she had bleeding, and became too weak to even sit up in bed.

We watched the strongest woman we know slowly fade into someone who couldn’t lift her head, who needed help for every little thing yet still tried to smile and whisper words of love to keep us going.

Despite everything, she is fighting. Her courage is the only thing holding our family together.

Our mum is our world. She is the centre of our family, the person who always put everyone before herself. And now, it’s our turn to be there for her fully and completely.

But being by her side has meant giving up work. My dad and I take turns staying with her 24/7 at the hospital. We also have a 13-year-old younger sister who misses her mum every single day and is struggling to understand why all this is happening. We’re trying to keep her safe, comforted, and strong while also keeping ourselves together.

The emotional and financial toll is becoming too much to carry alone.

We are asking for your help to raise £15,000 to:

Stay by our mum’s side throughout her 4-month chemotherapy journey

Cover bills, food, and travel costs

Prepare our home for when she’s finally ready to come back

Support her rehabilitation and care to help her walk again and regain her strength

Be able to care for our younger sister during this heartbreaking time

We never imagined we'd be in this position, scared, exhausted, and reaching out to others. But here we are, holding onto hope, doing everything we can to keep our mum going.

If you can donate, no matter how small, we would be deeply grateful. If you can't donate, please share this with others. Your kindness, your prayers, your words, your support will help lift us through the darkest days.

Thank you for reading our story and standing with us.

With love and gratitude,
