Please Help My Mom & Tenants Recover From Fire

This morning, I woke up to a terrifying call that no one wants to get in the middle of the night. My mother woke up at 4AM to a fire alarm and flames engulfing her multi-family home. She did everything to ensure her tenants as well as her precious fur babies, Bishop and Moose, made it to safety. We are relieved everyone made it out safe, but unfortunately, the flames left the house with irreversible damage. My mom and roommate, Sergio, worked hard to become first time homeowner’s, and it is the most upsetting to see her pour her heart into making this house a home and watch it go in an instant. After their first initial call with the insurance company, they learned the entire house has to be torn down which makes everything just that much harder. While waiting to deal with insurance, which can be a lengthy process, they have to replace all of their things that were lost in the fire. My Mother & Sergio will need to replace all of their clothing, my Mother’s school supplies and extensive book collection she has purchased for her family of students, their pet supplies which also includes medication for their rescue dog Moose, my mother’s yoga instructor supplies, and much more. Anything would be appreciated, as I know we are all experiencing hard times. No one deserves to experience this in their lives and while I cannot correct the loss of memories and moments spent there, I can do my best to make this an easier time for them so they can process and deal with the stress that comes along with this. They are strong and will rise through these flames.
