On November 9th, our world was turned upside down when my mom was diagnosed with Stage 3C aggressive ovarian cancer—the biggest shock of her life and ours. Just days later, she underwent major surgery, and by God’s grace, the doctors were able to successfully remove all visible cancer. After 12 long days in the hospital, she is now home, and a new battle has begun: healing and long-term treatment.

This is her journey and her decision. After much prayer, research, and reflection, my mom has chosen to opt out of traditional Western medicine and pursue holistic, alternative, and unconventional treatments at Oasis of Hope in Mexico. This path is deeply personal and faith-led. While it is costly, we have full faith in Jesus, in this approach, and in her body’s ability to heal with the right support.

My mom has been a giver her entire life—selfless, loving, and always putting others before herself. If you know her, you know her heart. Now, she is the one in need. The financial burden is heavy. My step dad is the sole provider, and the cost of treatment, travel, and ongoing care is overwhelming. Our hope with this fundraiser is to ease that burden, so she can focus fully on healing instead of finances.
