On December 22nd, my mother unexpectedly passed away in California. This loss came during the holidays, a time when emotions and finances are already stretched thin, and our family was completely unprepared for the costs that followed.

Within the past year, I also lost my father, and navigating another loss so soon has been emotionally overwhelming. While my mom struggled with many personal battles in her life, beneath those struggles she was a good person who cared deeply—she just couldn’t overcome her demons. Our relationship was complicated, and we had experienced a falling out before her passing, which has made this loss even harder to process.

I am trying to raise $2,000 to cover the cost of her cremation and to have her ashes shipped home to Washington so she can be laid to rest properly. This would bring a sense of peace and closure during an incredibly painful time.
