My mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and our family is still coming to terms with the news. Today, she is undergoing surgery, which is just the first step in her treatment journey. In about 30 days, she will begin radiation therapy to help ensure the best possible outcome. While she does have insurance, unfortunately, it does not fully cover all of her medical bills.
