Support my mom on her journey to meet Bowie

There is no easy way to say this but as per usual my mom and I came up with something cool. My mom is going to meet Bowie soon. She was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her bones. I can’t explain the devastation or the grief or the agony that this news has brought our family.

My mother raised my siblings and I by herself, advocated for us in countless ways, showed up for us time and time again, loved and nurtured us into the people we are today. My mom raised me on hiking and local honey and crystals and whimsy and coffee dates. My mom loves rock and roll and traveling and movies and history documentaries. There is not a single ounce of my personhood my mother has not influenced and enriched. Her courage, wisdom, curiosity, generosity and passion know no bounds. The greatest gift of my life are my mother and siblings, my world revolves around them. At this point, all I want is to keep our kick ass mom comfortable and content for the rest of her days and make sure she gets a going away as full of life and beauty as she is. Please help me in fulfilling this goal, to take care of her the way she took care of me for so long and to celebrate her life and the life she brought us.
