My name is Emma, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my mom.

My mom has always been the person everyone depends on. She’s a nurse who works long 12-hour shifts taking care of others, and she has also been helping care for my grandmother who has Alzheimer’s. No matter how exhausted she is, she always puts everyone else first.

Right now, she is going through a very difficult divorce and trying to navigate the legal process while still working and supporting our family. Unfortunately, during this process, her access to shared finances has been restricted, leaving her struggling to cover basic expenses and secure the legal representation she needs.

My mom is one of the strongest and most hardworking people I know, but she would never ask for help herself. Watching her go through this has been incredibly hard, and I want to do something to help carry some of the weight she’s been carrying alone.

The funds raised will go toward:

• Attorney retainer and legal fees

• Court and filing costs

• Basic necessities like gas, groceries, and utilities during this time

My mom has spent her life caring for others. Now I’m hoping our community can help care for her while she works to rebuild and move forward.
