My mom has always been the strongest, most caring, loving person I know. She has spent her life putting others first whether it’s her family, her friends, her passion for teaching, or even strangers who needed a helping hand. She is an incredible mom. She reminds us all of the good in this world by way of a extremely contaigous laugh and unconditional love for her family and passion for teaching.

Sadly, now, she’s facing a fight none of us could have prepared for: Multiple Myeloma, a rare and aggressive cancer of the blood and bone marrow.

The treatments are radiation, medications, and constant doctor visits. Unfortunately, the medical bills are already piling up and will only grow as we move forward. Even with Medicare and insurance, the out-of-pocket costs for her treatments, prescriptions, and hospital stays are staggering. On top of that, there are all the daily living expenses that don’t stop just because life has been turned upside down.

We’re creating this GoFundMe to help ease her financial burden so we can focus on the most important thing: healing and fighting this disease. Every dollar raised will go directly toward her care, medical bills, treatments, and essential living expenses while she undergoes treatment for the next 3 months.
