I'm raising this fundraiser for my mom. On Tuesday morning, our lives changed when my dad was detained by ICE while leaving home to take his kids to school.

My dad is a calm, loving, and hardworking father who has always done his best to provide for our family. My parents own a food truck, and it is their only source of income. With my dad now detained, my mom is facing the impossible task of trying to keep the business running while also managing our household expenses, expenses for the kids, and unexpected attorney fees.

We have never been the type of family to ask for help, and reaching out like this does not come easily. But right now, we are doing everything we can to keep our family on our feet and support my mom through this incredibly difficult time. Those who know my family know how involved we are in our community and how we have always tried to help others whenever we can. Those who know my dad know what a humble, kind, and hardworking man he is.
