Support My Mission to Save Lives-Syneca's EMT Training Fund

DISCLAIMER: FOR SOME REASON IT SAYS $1,600 BUT MY ACTUAL GOAL IS $3,500. I CANT CHANGE IT! IM SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION! anyways— 

Hi, my name is Syneca. Before I start, I just want to say thank you for taking the time out of your day to look at my GoFundMe. Since I was younger I have always wanted to help people or "save" people. While I know that I can't save everyone, I can still try. I have thought of different degrees or paths to take and none of them stood out to me, so I've just continued to work full time while wondering if I was ever going to be able to do something I really love. About a week or so ago I was in a situation where one of my coworkers was in need of some help and I was immediately there to help her, no second-guessing or nothing. What I did to help just came to me and I never had to think twice or ask someone else what to do, it was just natural. While I was helping her out, my other coworker said in passing "you should be an EMT" and not to sound cringey but that's when I knew in my heart that becoming one was something I needed to do. Everything just felt right and clicked in my head. Since that occurrence happened, I have been looking into different courses, colleges, programs, etc. and I finally found Arapahoe Community College. At first, I had so many doubts and kept underestimating myself, but the universe knew this was for me. I always told myself that I was never going to be anything more than a assistant manager at a fast food restaurant, and boy was I wrong. Everything has fell into place since the DAY I knew I wanted to become an EMT. I don't want to continue to bore you with all my why's and how's but I can't express enough how much I feel at peace with this new chapter in my life. The reason I have to create a GoFundMe is because FASFA doesn't cover certifications, only degrees. I got part of the amount covered by the COF (College Opportunity Fund) but unfortunately there is still a remaining balance that I can't afford on top of my rent, phone bill, car bills etc. Anything helps, I just want to be able to do what I've always wanted to do. The goal I have is the amount I need in order to get my schooling, my text books, my EMT uniforms, and my Med Kits. I know this was a very long read but if you made it this far, thank you so much for hearing my story and what I want to do for myself. I also thank you for not only helping me but helping me help people in need. :)
