Hi, I’m Orinthia — rooted in North London, and this year’s Miss Caribbean UK finalist representing Montserrat.

This journey has meant so much more to me than a title. It’s been a chance to celebrate my Caribbean heritage, connect with community, and use my platform to give back — through my volunteer work with the Enfield Caribbean Association and my passion for uniting all ages across the diaspora.

But this is only the beginning. Beyond the Grand Finale on October 17th, I’m dreaming bigger for next year: I want to take part in cultural trips and events that deepen my connection to the Caribbean, and run hair, beauty and braiding workshops rooted in a holistic approach — teaching not just technique, but confidence, identity and self-care to the young people in my community.

None of this is possible without support. Every donation — big or small — goes directly towards my travel and journey costs now of all the events I’ve attended representing Miss Caribbean UK & Montserrat, and towards making these workshops and cultural experiences a reality in the year ahead.
