I’m raising funds to have my memoir professionally formatted for both ebook and paperback. This is not about vanity or chasing a bestseller list. It’s about doing the final step the right way.

I live on a fixed disability income, and professional formatting is expensive. It’s one of those behind the scenes steps most people never think about, but it matters. Clean layout. Proper spacing. Chapters that land where they should. A book that looks like a real book, not a rough draft. I’ve done all the writing. All the revising. All the emotional heavy lifting. This is the last hurdle I can’t clear on my own.

This memoir is my life, unfiltered. It covers childhood trauma, grief, addiction around me, identity, love, loss, survival, and the long road toward healing. There are moments that are dark, moments that are tender, and moments that surprised even me. I didn’t write it to impress anyone. I wrote it to tell the truth, even when it hurt.

Most importantly, I wrote this book for my son.

I wanted him to have my story in one place. The whole thing. The parts I never knew how to say out loud. The mistakes. The growth. The love that was always there, even when life was chaotic or broken. This book is something he can hold in his hands and know exactly who his father is and how hard I fought to stay here.

The funds raised will be used strictly for professional formatting for ebook and paperback so I can upload it properly and order physical copies for my family. I’m not asking for help to write the book. I already did that. I’m asking for help to finish it.
