I'm raising money to help me attend the AGU Ocean Sciences Meeting 2026 to present the last of my PhD work. Postdocs are weird positions: temporary, characterized often by juggling remaining old work while dashing towards the new stuff. They rarely support going to conferences for your "old" stuff, even if it's finally got some good results and things to say.
My PhD research was all about a specific marsh in San Francisco Bay. I'm self-funding to attend, but I could use a bit of help from you so that I can push this work over the finish line and disseminate it to my peers.
The total cost—registration, flights from Stockholm, and lodging—are about a thousand dollars. Anything you donate helps me offset this for a week of professional development, science communications, and networking!
