I finally made a GoFundMe! My name is Chuck (they/them), and I have been working towards getting gender-affirming top surgery for years now. Over the last two years working 60+ hour work weeks, I have managed to save up just under half of what I need to pay for surgery. I will continue to work my ass off to save funds for recovery, but I am counting on the kindness of friends, customers, colleagues and strangers to help me get the money I need to pay my surgeon up front. This will be absolutely life-changing. Thank you for helping me take control of my body during a time where it feels like it isn't mine anymore. I can't wait to be comfortable in my own skin--to sit up straight, to dance again, to breathe freely.
