Hi, my name is Toshiona Carroll. I am a graduate from University of California, Riverside, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in 2020. Since the beginning of my academic journey, I have been deeply committed to one goal: becoming a lawyer. I am passionate about justice, advocacy, and using the law as a tool to help others and create meaningful change in my community.

Earning my paralegal certification is a milestone that carries deep personal meaning for me. This journey did not begin with a title or a credential, it began with a desire to understand the law and use it as a tool to help others who often feel unheard or overwhelmed by the legal system. This certification is more than an academic achievement; it is my first real opportunity to step into the legal world and make a tangible difference. Through hands-on experience, I will continue developing the skills, discipline, and insight necessary to advocate effectively and ethically.

This milestone represents the foundation of my path to law school and, ultimately, a legal career dedicated to service, justice, and impact. Each step I take brings me closer to becoming someone who not only understands the law, but uses it to create meaningful change.

Donations will be used to directly support my efforts in pursuing my paralegal certificate by helping cover the out-of-pocket costs required to complete my remaining coursework. Unfortunately, these expenses are not covered by financial aid, and I am seeking support to help manage the cost. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would go directly toward tuition and related class expenses and would make a meaningful difference in helping me complete this important step in my education.
