I’m taking the state of Wyoming to court. They pulled me over 9 years ago, originally waving me off from a traffic stop with a misdemeanor. I just recently found out that charge is now considered a felony charge and there are warrants for my arrest for this. My legal counsel will be $15,000. That could be the end of the story, but my case is too expensive just for a freedom I already have.
In filing these charges, I am seeking religious freedom from my roots of Hawai’i and how all plant medicine and magic are used in many of the practices, and Wyoming has violated my 1st Amendment right. These charges also claim illegal search, for I was burning Palo Santo at the time and the officer claimed he smelled a burning substance, and that was not it, when the burning and the wood have different scents. He then used this mystery smell to search the car, when we were already targeted for having California plates, violating my 4th Amendment right. The lack of communication and lack of keeping the charge consistent is a direct violation of my 6th Amendment right. And the final and most influential to your help here is Wyoming violating my 8th Amendment right to not have excessive bail required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishment inflicted.
In all, whatever you believe about cannabis, my rights are being infringed upon. In no world should my $250-$1500 fine for possession become a $15,000-unknown amount for loss of income, loss of reputation, and loss of freedom too.
Please consider helping me in this case and help deliver a win for the Constitution and myself.
