Support My Kidney Transplant Recovery

Hello everyone. On August 24, 2025, after 4 1/2 years on dialysis, I finally got a kidney transplant. I was reactivated on the transplant list on August 22. I was placed on hold back in March after they found a very large cyst on my left kidney. I had to get my kidney removed. On May 29, they removed my left kidney, took a biopsy of it, and found a very small cancer cell. It was under the minimum for transplant requirements for a new kidney. On August 20, I was medically cleared for transplant. The doctors and nurses presented my case to the transplant board on August 21. I started this GoFundMe because I will be out of work for a minimum of 2 months, maybe longer, as I recover. My recovery will be a long road. I will no longer have my immune system. I will be on meds for the rest of my life. The meds will help my body not to reject the new kidney. Please consider donating or sharing this campaign. I appreciate anything you can do.
