I’m incredibly honoured and excited to share that I’ve been selected to represent and potentially captain Jamaica’s national rugby union team—a dream opportunity to compete internationally while helping grow rugby in a nation bursting with untapped potential! As a small, developing rugby union, Jamaica is building its program from the ground up. I’m proud to be part of this ambitious project that’s uniting players from across the diaspora to strengthen the squad.

My first challenge comes on May 3rd in Mexico City against the Mexico National Rugby Team, where I’ll proudly wear the Jamaican jersey in a crucial international fixture. This isn’t just a personal milestone—it’s a chance to help put Jamaican rugby on the global map and inspire the next generation of athletes back home.

However, as an emerging rugby nation, resources are limited. The costs of international travel from the UK, accommodations, and other expenses are significant—especially as I recently launched a business focused on affordable youth athletic development—making this a challenging time financially. But I’m fully committed to this journey because I believe in what we’re building.
