I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help like this, but life has taken a turn that I can’t manage on my own right now.
I have been diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and am currently undergoing regular dialysis treatments. This has completely changed my day-to-day life and required me to make the difficult decision to end being a care taker for my dad. The toll dialysis takes on my body, has made it impossible for me to maintain a steady income at this time.
While I am doing everything I can to stay strong and focus on my health, the financial weight of ongoing medical care and basic living expenses has become overwhelming.
Each month, I am responsible for medical expenses related to dialysis and care as well essential living costs (vehicle, insurance, and household bills). I am asking for help to cover the next 10 months while I focus on my treatments and healing.
My goal will assist me over the next 10 months (which is the anticipated timeframe for my requested disability case to be approved) and will help cover:
• Basic living expenses
• Ongoing dialysis and medical costs
• Fees and unexpected emergencies
If you feel led, I am humbly asking if anyone would consider becoming a one time or monthly supporter during this season. Even a small recurring amount can make a meaningful difference and help provide some stability as I navigate this journey.
Additionally, as I walk this road with ESRD, I am in need of a kidney transplant. If you or someone you know has ever considered becoming a living kidney donor, I would be incredibly grateful for your consideration. I understand this is a deeply personal decision, and even sharing this message could help me get closer to a match.
This support—financial, emotional, or even simply sharing my story—would give me the ability to focus on my health without the constant fear of falling behind.
If you’re able to donate, share, or keep me in your prayers, it truly means more than I can express. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for being part of my support system.
