In mid October of 2025 I fell and broke my right femur and had to have surgery to place a metal rod and screws in my leg. I have been in physical rehabilitation since my surgery. The recovery period for a broken femur is long and I have made significant progress however I still can not walk. I exhausted my Medicare days available for rehabilitation and I'm in danger of being sent home unable to walk. I'm right on the verge of walking again but I need to raise money to pay out of pocket for my remaining therapy needs. The cost is $270 a day and I need about 3 more weeks in therapy.
