I was nominated to attend the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment (WYSE). WYSE is a six day long, prestigious leadership program held at George Mason University every June. High school students from all over the country are selected and brought together to explore and research important environmental issues through hands-on learning with industry leaders, international conservation experts, research scientists, and Washington insiders.

This unique opportunity will allow me to further extend my understanding of environmental science, sustainability, and conservation. I will also gain valuable leadership skills and connect with like-minded peers. Attending WYSE will enhance my knowledge and passion for protecting the environment and prepare me to make a meaningful impact in the environmental science field, more specifically in marine biology in which I intend to major in college.

Your donation will support me by covering the cost of the program. Any funds in excess of the program cost will be deposited into my savings account to be used for college.
