My life nearly ended before it truly began. At just 8 years old, I had already found my purpose—racing motocross. Every moment of my childhood revolved around it, whether I was on the track or building intricate dirt bike courses in the sand. I was convinced that professional motocross was my future, until one crash changed everything.
On October 18, 2014, a devastating accident sent me to the hospital, where doctors told my family, “There’s nothing more we can do.” I had suffered a traumatic brain injury and a hemorrhagic stroke, leaving me unable to walk or speak. My left side no longer consciously communicated with my brain, and the future I had envisioned was ripped away. The next two years were filled with grueling therapy, hundreds of doctor visits, and an unshakable determination to rebuild my life. But as I searched for guidance, I saw many others in the brain injury community struggling, losing their sense of identity, and fading away from the lives they once loved. I refused to let that be my story. I realized that while many people have powerful stories, few have the voice to share them. I found my purpose in becoming that voice—not just through motivational speaking, but also in redefining what’s possible for adaptive athletes.
That journey led me to paraclimbing. Over the past four years, I have fought my way to the top of the sport, becoming a four-time U.S. National Paraclimbing Team member, a World Cup medalist, and a top-five finisher at the IFSC Paraclimbing World Championships. Now, I’m chasing my biggest season yet—competing in the IFSC Paraclimbing World Cups across Europe and the World Championships in Seoul, South Korea. However, unlike many elite athletes, paraclimbers receive very little funding. Travel, accommodations, and competition fees quickly add up, making it nearly impossible to compete without outside support. My ultimate goal is to represent Team USA at the LA 2028 Paralympics, but every step toward that dream requires significant financial backing.
I am asking for your support to help me compete on the world stage and continue proving that no obstacle—whether physical or financial—should stand in the way of a dream. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a huge difference. Thank you for believing in this journey and helping me climb to new heights!
