Hi! I’m Greg Jagassar—aka Balancing Bru—a Canadian-born, now Swiss artist living in Zürich for the past 15 years. I practice rock balancing: a meditative art form where stillness, gravity, and an art of presence meet. Each sculpture is a quiet conversation with nature—temporary, intentional, and deeply human.

Believe it or not, there are two major international competitions each year where the world’s best rock balancers gather. This year, I’ve been invited to compete—and I’ll be representing Switzerland on the global stage.

Hoi! Ich bi de Greg Jagassar. Besser bekannt als Balancing Bru – zwar in Kanada gebore, hüt in Züri lebende Künstler, wo sit 15 Jahr sich da dihei fühlt. Mini Kunst isch Stei-Balance: e meditativi Form vo Kunst, woni mit Rueh, Schwerkraft und Präsenz in Einklang mit de Natur gahn. Jedi Skulptur isch e stilli, vergängligi, aber e bewusste Dialog mit dr Natur. en Momänt, wo ehrlich und menschlich isch.

Es wunderet mi selber aber es git tatsächlich zwei internationali Wettkämpf pro Jahr, wo sich die beschte Stei-Balancer us dr ganze Wält träffed.

Das Jahr han ich d’Ehr, d Verträttig für d’Schwiiz ihznäh und am Wettkampf mini Kunst uf dr Wältbühni z’zeige.

Dini Unterstützig hilft, d’Reisekoschte, all Materialie und d’Möglichkeite z’deckä. So dass die selteni und bedütigsvolli Kunst mit andere Mönsche cha teilt wärde.

Es gaht drum, d’ Eifachheit, d Rueh und Echtheit imne gemeinsame Ruum z’träge und würke lah.
