Hi, my name is Aspen Tanner. I live in Australia, on the far south coast of NSW. I have always taken an interest in exploring a variety of different international cultures, and have enjoyed expanding my knowledge through a variety of different learning pathways. One of these that I have found to be the most meaningful is Aurora College, an online school designed to provide education to talented and gifted students living in rural communities.

With all this in mind, I was absolutely thrilled when there was an opportunity to study French in school, a subject which I have been taking for three years now. Progressing forwards in time, I discovered that there was an opening to study abroad in France, from August to November 2026. This possibility was exhilarating, and I was increasingly excited to be able to take part in a program such as this.

Unfortunately, the cost of $10,500 was a significant burden on my family, as ever increasing inflation and cost of living has made for an unstable and uncertain financial time period.

However, despite these challenges, I have been determined to pursue my goal. So far, I have saved up $5,500 through hard work baking cookies and selling them at the local markets. I have also received various donations from my extended family to help support me through these challenges. Never before did I think I would have this wonderful opportunity, and now, all I need is $5,000 more!

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to studying in France and achieving the goal I’ve worked hard for! Thank you for taking the time to read my story and support my goal!
