I Survived a Crash After Working 14-Hour Days — Now I Need a Car to Avoid Losing Everything.
I’m asking for help rebuilding after a life-changing moment.
I was working as a Store Training Manager, putting in 14-hour days, 7 days a week just to stay afloat. One night, after leaving work in Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, and heading toward Philadelphia, I fell asleep at the wheel from exhaustion. I crashed.
I broke my arm in two places, shattered my windshield, and completely totaled my car. Since that moment, everything has been an uphill battle.
Without a car, I’ve been trying to survive however I can. I take the bus when I can afford it, but it’s unreliable and often late. When I don’t have money, I walk 2–4 miles just to get to job interviews or work.
Imagine showing up to an interview exhausted and covered in sweat just from trying to get there.
I’ve done DoorDash before, and I know firsthand that with a car, I can work 60–80 hours a week and get back on my feet quickly. Without one, I’m stuck.
Right now, I’m facing real pressure:
My bank accounts are negative
My credit cards are maxed out and over the limit
I’m trying to save, putting aside $25–$50 a week from odd jobs. I’m at risk of losing my housing if I can’t stabilize income soon.
On top of everything, I’m also a cancer survivor, still fighting to rebuild my life.
I’m not asking for a luxury—just a reliable vehicle so I can work, earn, and move forward.
My goal is $6,500, which will cover:
A dependable used car
Registration and insurance
Basic startup costs to get back on the road
I am committed to full transparency. I will share:
Photos of the car before purchase
The buying process
Receipts and progress updates
My journey getting back to work
If you can donate, thank you—it truly means everything right now. If you can’t, please share this. That alone could change my situation.
I just need a chance to get back on my feet.
