I never thought I’d be making something like this, but I’m hoping this will help in any way.

A year ago, I finally got my own car—a Fiat 500 Pop that I was really excited about. It was my independence, my way to get to work safely, and something I was genuinely proud of.

I had it for one day.

The very next day, I was involved in a hit-and-run that completely totaled my car. The person who hit me never stopped, and just like that, it was gone.

At the time, I didn’t ask anyone for help. I told myself I would figure it out and push through. Since then, I’ve been relying on walking and public transportation to get to work and live my day-to-day life.

But the truth is—it’s been really hard.

Getting around takes so much more time and energy, and it’s added a level of stress and anxiety that I wasn’t prepared for. Especially working in the service industry, having reliable transportation would make a huge difference in my safety, stability, and overall quality of life.

I’ve tried to manage this on my own for the past year, but I’m at a point where I could really use some help.
