Support My Journey to Peru: Education, Travel, Development

Hello friends, family, and kind supporters!

I’m excited to share that this summer, I’ll be embarking on an amazing experience in Cusco, Peru for 10 weeks, where I’ll be pursuing my passion for travel, education, and youth development.

Through this experience in Cusco, Peru, I will be fulfilling my graduation requirements for my degree by completing an internship. Throughout my time in college, I have been studying Human Development with a focus on Human Services with a certificate in Family Studies, and Spanish. The internship will focus on youth development and education through specific program implementation based on the youth's developmental abilities. As this internship is based in Peru, I will be using my Spanish abilities every day by working with youth, families, and the host family that I will be staying with. With all of that being said, this opportunity will allow me to expand my knowledge on these topics and receive a well-rounded experience to further progress in my future.

During my time I will:

Teach youth development programs in Spanish, helping empower local children with valuable skills for their futures.

Learn and Engage with the vibrant culture of Peru and learn from the incredible people in the community.

This opportunity is a significant step in my personal and professional growth, and I’m proud to share that I’ve made it this far on my own—covering my tuition and expenses while working and being in school full-time. However, during the internship it will be unpaid, meaning to take this next step and make the most of my time in Peru, I need your help!
