Support My Journey to Old Diorama Arts Center in London

Hello!

My name is Justin, and I’m currently a sophomore at the University of Tulsa, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Culture, & Entertainment Management with a focus in Visual Arts or Music and a minor in Media Studies.

I’ve created this GoFundMe to help support a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: a summer study abroad program in London, where I’ve been accepted to intern with the Old Diorama Arts Centre.

In March, my academic advisor and professor invited me to apply for this internship — and I was thrilled to be accepted. This incredible opportunity will give me firsthand experience in arts organization management, allowing me to grow professionally and personally while immersing myself in a new culture. It’s a vital step toward building a future career in the arts.

Thanks to a generous endowment, the core costs of the program — including my flight, tuition, and housing — are already covered. However, I’m responsible for funding essential day-to-day expenses, including food, local transportation, personal items, and cultural outings.

I’ll be traveling to London in June and staying until early August. Outside of my internship hours, I hope to explore and learn from the city’s rich arts and cultural scene. Some places I hope to visit include the British Museum, the Shard, the London Zoo, King’s Cross Station, the British Library, and the Royal Botanic Gardens.
