Since I began high school, I knew I wanted to obtain my Doctorate and continue my education well past established schooling. Now, I have the chance to go to Japan to earn my Doctorate through a 3 to 5 year program, so graciously offered to me by Kobe University. I have visited Japan two times, both because of Kobe University's scholarship opportunities, supportive staff, and my prospective advisors, Dean SHIRAI Yasuhito and Doctor of Plant Pathology, my biggest inspiration, ASUKE Soichiro. I have been accepted into Kobe University's Global Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences and am on my way to making the big move across the ocean! I need help to make this dream come true. The costs of moving are now on me to obtain, including my plane ticket, lodging for any long layovers, food costs along the way, deposit for my school program, and my deposit, key charge, and renting appliances for my housing in Japan. While it isn't a huge number, having support from you would mean the world and help me access education beyond my wildest dreams.
