Hey everyone,

I'm Rex Bencivenga, a 12-year-old Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor, and I have a huge passion for the sport. Over the past few years, I've had the privilege to compete in big tournaments like the IBJJF Jiu-JitsuCon in Las Vegas and the JJWL Worlds at UCLA, where I managed to snag gold in both Gi and NoGi divisions. These experiences have not only made me a better athlete but also a better person.

Recently, my 62-fight winning streak came to an end, teaching me some important lessons about resilience, perseverance, and what Jiu-Jitsu is truly about. It's not just about winning or getting trophies; it's about the heart, courage, and never giving up, no matter what.

Now, I'm aiming for the IBJJF PAN Kids 2024 in Florida, which is a really big deal in the Jiu-Jitsu world. It's a chance for me to represent not just my Academy, Kola Ajose, and my sponsor Hyperfly, but also my family, teammates, and all the values that Jiu-Jitsu teaches - discipline, respect, and hard work.

But getting to this level of competition comes with its own challenges, like travel expenses and training costs, including four nights in a hotel and flights. That's why I'm reaching out to you, my Jiu-Jitsu family, for help. Even a small contribution can make a huge difference in helping me chase my dreams and keep going strong on the mats.

But more than just money, I'm asking for your belief in me. Believe that I'll step onto that mat with everything I've got, win or lose. Because in the end, it's not just about one tournament; it's about having the courage to keep fighting, keep growing, and keep inspiring others.
