Support My Journey to Help Special Needs Children

So this is not something I would normally do, but a friend of mine suggested it and I figured I would at least tell my story and why I need support at the moment. I have been working with children living with Autism and multiple other diagnoses. Recently, I changed my setting from a clinic-based position to a public school-based setting. I am contracted through an agency, so I don’t receive any of the benefits that others working directly for the district do. Since I’ve started co-teaching this Pre-K classroom, I have come to realize that this is the best setting for me, and in order to progress down this path, I have to do a couple of things and take some time to get there. I have to pass the Praxis, and potentially take some extra classes that could be a little expensive for me at the moment.

A lot of people donate to different charities for their birthdays on different platforms, but I’m asking for assistance directly for myself so that I can provide better quality education to special needs children in a public school setting. I wish I had the finances to take care of the expenses myself, but it’s just not feasible for me at the moment. I want to raise enough money to buy some study materials I will need to take the Praxis. The exam cost for all 3 parts is $180, and the Special Education portion is $130 with a $35 registration fee. I would definitely purchase some second-hand study books to help me get prepared, which I figure will cost around $150 in total for all of the portions. There are many other costs for me going down this route, but I figured this would be a good place to start, and having support from family and friends to provide quality education to children living with special needs would be greatly appreciated.
