I have been personally invited by the "Queen of Pose" herself, Coco Rocha, to attend the world-renowned Coco Rocha Model Camp (CRMC). For those who may not know her, Coco Rocha is a legendary international supermodel known for her technical mastery, high-fashion editorials, and her role as a mentor to the next generation of industry leaders.
To be hand-selected for this camp is a dream I’ve worked toward for years. I applied once in 2021 but could not attend due to funding. Coco even recently commented on my social media work, praising my creative direction—a moment that confirmed I am exactly where I am supposed to be.
This journey isn't just about modeling; it's about a promise. Ten months ago, I lost my mother, Keisha, to Glioblastoma. She was my absolute biggest supporter and the person who introduced me to this world.
Growing up, we watched the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show together every year since I was six years old. She believed in me before I even knew how to believe in myself. In 2019, she took me to NYC on her birthday just to walk me into modeling agencies. She used to tell me to walk up and down 5th Avenue with my headshots, convinced I’d be signed on the spot.
Navigating the last three years has been incredibly difficult, but losing her gave me the ultimate push to stop waiting. In February, I launched NIA Creative Agency to lean into my full potential. This camp is the next step in that evolution.
Why I’m Asking for Your Support
The tuition, lodging, food, and travel for this intensive experience total $3,000. After a challenging few years, I am reaching out to my community to help me bridge the gap to get there.
By attending this camp, I’m not just learning to model; I’m gaining world-class creative direction and branding insights that I will pour directly back into my agency and my work here in Auburn.
My Promise to You
I promise to document every step of this journey—the highs, the hard work, and the behind-the-scenes—so you can see exactly where your investment is going. Your support means I can walk into that camp with my head held high, knowing I have a village behind me and my mom’s spirit guiding my walk.
Thank you for helping me turn this "personal invitation" into a professional reality.
