I have a Cerebrospinal fluid leak that causes severe headaches when upright, neck pain, blurred and double vision, distorted hearing, dizziness, brain fog and many other symptoms. Laying flat helps and helps decrease complications. I’ve been pretty much bed bound since January
I’m going to be going to Cedars Sinai and we’re leaving May 27going by car because I can’t sit up for a 6hour flight
I will say, I already have a complication called “brain sag” which is why I have been so sick. Brain sag, also known as brain slump, is a condition where the brain appears to sink or sag due to a decrease in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) volume, often caused by a CSF leak. This can lead to a variety of symptoms, including headaches, cognitive impairment, and even dementia, as well as potential movement disorders. Brain sag can be a serious complication, especially after brain tumor surgery, where it can lead to coma due to intracranial hypotension.
