Mijn naam is Melissa Breebaart, ik ben 21 jaar oud en woon momenteel net buiten Amsterdam. Ik studeer in Juli af aan de Dutch Academy of Performing Arts.

Het is al jaren een droom van mij om naar het buitenland te gaan en nu komt die uit! Ik ben aangenomen bij Bird College in London en mag daar mijn bachelor halen in professional dance and musical theatre! Iets wat ik nooit had durven dromen.

Helaas is London niet goedkoop en is het als internationale student nogal prijzig; van huur kosten tot collegegeld tot visum kosten etc. Alle kleine beetjes zullen mij helpen en met elke kleine bijdrage kan ik een grote droom gaan najagen.

Hello everyone,

My name is Melissa Breebaart, I’m 21 years old and currently living just outside of Amsterdam. This July, I will graduate from the Dutch Academy of Performing Arts.

It has been my dream for many years to study abroad — and now that dream is finally coming true! I’ve been accepted into Bird College in London, where I’ll be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Something I never even dared to imagine becoming reality.

Unfortunately, living in London as an international student comes with a high price tag — from tuition fees to rent, visa costs, and more. Every little bit truly helps, and with your support, I’ll be one step closer to chasing this incredible opportunity.
