Hi, my name is Tia, and I am currently studying an LLM alongside the SQE1 and SQE2 exams to qualify as a solicitor.

My passion for law comes from personal experience. Growing up around parental alienation, I witnessed firsthand the emotional impact it can have on families and children. This has driven my desire to help families better understand the importance of acting in the best interests of their children, and to support those navigating complex legal challenges.

I believe solicitors play a vital role in bridging the gap between individuals and the legal system. For many people, the law can feel overwhelming and inaccessible. I want to be part of a profession that acts as a shield for those who feel powerless ensuring their voices

are heard and their rights are protected.

I recently completed my undergraduate degree, graduating with a 2:2, while overcoming significant personal challenges. Coming from a low income household and experiencing an unexpected move during my studies made my journey more difficult. Despite this, I remained committed to my goals, gaining valuable work experience alongside my studies and continuing to push forward.

I am hardworking, resilient, and determined to succeed. However, funding my SQE1 and SQE2 exams alongside my LLM has been financially challenging.
