Hi everyone

I officially graduated midwifery school today!!

I’m making this GoFundMe because I’m currently raising money for my NARM exam, licensing costs, and the rest of the birth supplies/equipment I need as I transition from student midwife into practice. The exam itself is around $1300 and honestly everything adds up really fast.

A lot of people don’t realize that midwifery school is not just regular school. For the last few years my life has basically revolved around being on call 24/7, attending births at all hours of the night, clinic days, postpartum visits, studying, traveling, minimally paid clinicals, and trying to balance work and finances through all of it. It honestly makes maintaining normal consistent income really hard sometimes because births don’t happen on a schedule.

I’ve put so much time, energy, money, and sacrifice into making it to this point and I’m sooo grateful I finally graduated, but getting licensed is the final major step before I can fully practice as a CPM.

I’m also not the best at documenting/posting my journey online, but I really appreciate everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, prayed for me, referred clients to me, or checked on me throughout this whole process!
