Death is inevitable, she comes for us all.

For the past ten years, I have spent my time doing IT work. Since I started, I have known this was not the industry I wanted to stay in; while I enjoy puzzle solving, nothing ever felt like it had a lasting impact.

Then a few years ago I assisted my family in caring for my grandmother during her final months. It struck me how at the end of each day I was feeling more satisfied with the work I'd done than I have with any work I've done in the past decade.

I have applied to Going With Grace's Death Doula Training course, it is a 5-day intensive that will be a great first step into work I know is impactful and needed in our communities.

I have been accepted to this course once before but was unable to attend due to finances, so every penny helps in securing my ability to attend.
